Description
The lost foam casting (LFC) production line is an advanced casting process solution that integrates modern casting technology and automated equipment. This process utilizes a pattern made of expandable polystyrene (EPS) or expanded polypropylene (EPP). After coating and drying, it is embedded in dry sand. Molten metal is then poured directly under vacuum and negative pressure. The pattern instantly vaporizes and disappears, ultimately resulting in a casting that is identical to the pattern. The LFC production line features a simple process flow, eliminating core making and demolding steps. It can produce castings with complex structures, high precision, and smooth surfaces.
